Luxury Jeweller Fabergé Opened First London Store Since 1915
Luxury jewellery company Fabergé has opened its first London shop since 1915 in central London
The Grafton Street store was designed in-house by managing and creative director Katharina Floh. It features a patterned lilac façade and gold detailing. The exteriors aim to reference the guilloches and enamel techniques used by Fabergé in creating famous Fabergé eggs, and as seen on its timepiece designs.
Black stairs lead to a gold door-frame surrounding a Fabergé-branded clear-glass door. Small windows formed from clear panels on the exterior reveal the interiors, and the products on show.
The lilac and gold colour palette extends to the interiors, which feature large bouquets of flowers, lilac chairs and table decorations and ornate black and gold furniture and light fittings.
Fabergé is also due to open a store in New York in spring 2012.
